PROJECT BRIEF
After mastering the Glyphs app and typography skills, I created 10 sketch pages for my font, showcasing ideas and variations for each letter. I was tasked to make 26 lowercase letters, but could add uppercase and symbols. Next, we scanned our sketches into Glyphs and refined each letter, considering kerning, overall feel, and optional ligatures. I named my font Starlight Express, aiming for a blend of whimsy and sophisticated beauty. We then made a type specimen book and used the risograph machine to print them.
